Show Summary

Attachments is a television series that originally aired on the BBC for two seasons from 2000 to 2002. The story line unfolds within the setting of London. Attachments is a soap-style drama that depicts the professional, and sometimes personal, ups and downs of the youthful staff of an entrepreneurial Internet company, Seethru. Seethru is the brainchild of Mike (Justin Pierre) and his wife Luce (Claudia Harrison). Seethru's staff includes people of various sexualities, races and levels of geekiness. Memorable characters include content writer and lesbian Sophie (Amanda Ryan), geeky technology expert Brandon (Iddo Goldberg) and site designer Jake (David Williams). The series explores the aches and pains of trying to grow a successful business, often in spite of scandalous office behavior and politics. At times the office bustles with productive activity, whereas other times find staff members engaged in playing video games, carrying out practical jokes, gossiping and other activities best not mentioned around the water cooler.

  • Great series about people who work on a website.

At the time this series was tucked away on BBC2 and I found it rather accidentally. I immediately fell in love with it. It has quirky and funny characters and nice storylines. The website around which this series evolved was actually online and I frequented it quite often. It is still online today and sometimes gets updated. The URL is http://www.seethru.co.uk.

I’d love to have this series on DVD.
