Great Cartoon

Attack of the killer Tomatoes was a real fun show and just a great cartoon. One of the all time classic Saturday morning cartoons ever in my humble opinion. I think my fave character was the professor. The stories were all obviously strange (hey we are talkin about a bunch of psychotic mutant engineered tomatoes here peeps) but they were always fun shows but also real interesting. The characters were great and it somehow stayed true to the basic theme of the movie while at the same time being more family and child friendly. It was never scary or anything just a great, fun show.moreless

I remember this cartoon as one of the last cartoons I watched religiously on Saturday morning. It was so silly and funny and I just loved at the end of Season 1 that Dr. Gang Green actually succeeded in taking over the world with his killer tomatoes and spent the last 5 minutes of the show jumping around as he was the first cartoon villian to succeed in taking over the world. I was rolling; it was so funny. I definitely had to come back for season two to see what happens next and I wasn't disappointed. Please: DVD!moreless

One of the best cartoons of the 1990\\\'s John Austin replays he role as Dr Gang Green as he and his assitent igor amith try to used tomatos led by Zotlan and the gang of five to try to take over the world. They stopped by the Killer Tomato Task force led by Wilbur Finletter but reallty it his newphrew chad who foils **** Schemes along with outcast tomatoes tara a pretty young 16 year girl she may look human but she can changed back into a tomato if salt is thrown over her also with him his FT or furry tomato he is pretending to be the world uglies dog. Togteher they tried and stop **** Schmesmoreless

Yet another cartoon which was often rolled out within UK Saturday morning shows such as Parallel 9 and Going Live!, this cartoon was a weird version of the B-movie.

The 'storylines' would invariably involve some new and interesting way for the marauding tomatoes to make life difficult. Quotations such as "The Mayor is opening the regatta this weekend. I sure hope those tomatoes don't show up!". Of course they would, and it would be down to Wilbur and FT to save the day.

All in all, this was rather an affective spoof on the B-movie and had some good jokes, though many of them were wasted on the young audience.moreless

I didn't see the movie, but this show was very interesting. I remember this show fairly well, it was a bunch of tomatoes trying to take over the world. While funny, and not meaning to be, this show needs to be brought back. The actors were the best and so were the storyboards.
