Austin, Ally, Trish, and Dez go to New York City so Austin can perform at Times Square for New Year's Eve but he was no way to go perform. Jessie wants to sing a song with Austin and when they don't like the lyrics that Jessie wrote, they found a lyric that they wrote but it turned out that it was Zuri so Jessie tries to find a way to make sure they don't find out it was Zuri so it wouldn't ruin her chance to sing a song with Austin.

"Guess Who Got a Job at... "
Trish's job(s) in this episode: Coastal Air flight attendant-in-training; Zuri's manager.
Dez: So buddy, what's your next big dream?
Austin: To borrow a warmer jacket! Man, New York is cold! Whoo!
(to Ally)
Why are you staring at me like that?
Ally: Oh, I started tearing up during your performance and my eyes froze open.
(Austin waves his hand in front of Ally, who doesn't blink)
Trish: Well, Austin, whatever your next big dream is, just know I'm gonna be there for you.
Austin: Thanks, Trish.
(Austin hugs Trish)
Hey, how are we getting home?
Trish: I don't know. That's your problem.
Trish: It's Jimmy!
(answers cellphone)
Jimmy: Trish, what's going on? Where's Austin? He goes on in one minute.
Trish: One minute? He'll be there, Jimmy. We're just about to land the helicopter.
Jimmy: You're in a helicopter?
Trish: Don't worry. It's being flown by a teenage nanny. Gotta go.
Trish: Austin, I'm going to find a way to get you to Times Square.
Austin: How?
Trish: Hey, I'm you're manager. I'll figure it out. When I start a job, I always finish it.
Old Lady Passenger: Excuse me, Miss...
Trish: No, sorry, I quit.
Austin: I can't believe Trish messed up our flight. I was so close to my dream.
Dez: I know you're bummed. But take it from me, a guy whose dreams never come true.
Austin: It gets better?
Dez: No, you'll never get over this one.
Austin: The song's good, but instead of chasing your dreams, let's make it about your dreams finally coming true. Like me and Times Square.
Ally: (moans) That would be a terrible idea... because... the sad truth is... a lot of people's dreams don't come true. We shouldn't rub it in their faces.
Austin: Wow. Way to bum me out.
Ally: Besides, it's about the journey, not the destination. What sounds better? Sitting on a beach in Hawaii or sitting on a plane for twelve hours to get there?
Austin: Uh. The beach part.
Ally: Clearly, you know nothing about dreams... or the fun of air travel.
Trish: Oh, no. Cheeri messed up. I didn't book Austin at Times Square. I booked him at Tim's Square Pizza.
Dez: Oh, that's horrible. But since you have Tim on the phone, can you order me a half mushroom, half surprise me?
Featured Music: "Christmas Soul," "Can You Feel It," "Face to Face"
The one-hour special cross-over episode is actually two episodes mashed together. The first episode is an Austin & Ally episode, "Big Dreams & Big Apples," with special guest stars Debby Ryan and Peyton List from Jessie. The second episode is a Jessie episode, "Nanny in Miami," with special guest stars Ross Lynch, Laura Marano, Raini Rodriguez and Calum Worthy from Austin & Ally.
Trish's cellphone app, Cheeri, is an allusion to Siri, a personal assistant application for Apple iOS.
