Austin & Ally

Well, Disney is not that bad anymore. Austin & Ally started out sappy, silly, and bad, but Season 2 has been quite the improvement. The writing has become stronger and so much better... The characters are slowly developing and I LOVE this show.

This is Disney's number one show along with Jessie and Good Luck Charlie... Cancel Shake It Up and Dog with a Blog.

Well, I thought Disney Channel was hopeless when it introduced Shake It Up and Fish Hooks. Then Austin & Ally came. I've been a fan of the show since it debuted and it gets BETTER and BETTER. Cannot wait for Season 3!!!!!!!!!

This has to be the 2nd best show on Disney Channel, great acting and great plots, Idc if people hate it, I like it, way more entertainment then the stupidity they show on Nickelodeon (victorious and icarly) more people should give this a chance :) ausly forever!

I wasn't really into all the Disney Channel's program before... Well yes but not as now!!! I literally LOVE Austin & Ally!! It's such an amazing show!! Every time I can, I start talking about it!! It kind of bother my brother but... who cares?? :)

Season 1 is amazing, how Austin's career starts and everything, and Season 2 is AWESOME, the romance that evryone was waiting for, the songs...

I have a lot of fun watching Austin&Ally and I really hope it will go on with the season!!

The show defintley has improved from season 1 to season 2. I have to admit I didn't like i at first but now I love it.

I'm glad people now like this show. It has improved so much; Season 1 was average and Season 2 is great! Also, ratings are improving and Auslly are a great couple! Thank you for giving this show a chance!

I was ready to give up on Disney Channel after Wizards ended but then i came across A&A last summer & i've been addicted ever since i saw it! its so adorable and isn't stupidly fake. These actors & actresses really know how to sing and play instrumentals and are real genuine people <3 I love the music & the chemistry between everyone! They aren't trying to be something they're not, they really know how to stay true to their characters, even when there's a little change!

I'm just saying, if a show can make me laugh or smile, i like it---and with this show i LOVE IT!

My goodness, I LOVE Austin & Ally; it's amazing and so, so, so ENTERTAINING!!!! Ahh! I cannot wait for the next episode (March 17th). Auslly BETTER happen in this episode.

WOW! I cannot believe "Campers & Complications" earned nearly 5 million viewers!!! This just proves that this is one of Disney's number one shows. I've always been a fan of Austin & Ally and the show has never disappointed. I love EVERYTHING about it.

Wow, I have always LOVED this show. From the beginning, I always thought it was a cute show. The acting was pleasant and the storylines were decent. Then came SEASON 2 -- It's like I was watching a completely different show. The acting IMPROVED SO MUCH. The storylines are so strong and SO ENTERTAINING, based around the Auslly arc... Disney needs to hurry and renew it for a third season.

I'm glad season two took a step into a different direction. The episodes have improved so much as well as the writing. I love how Austin has matured throughout the series, and how Ally's wardrobe has changed a lot. Overall, I'm glad this show is airing, one of my favorites. I love how almost every episode in season 2 has earned over 4 million viewers, beating Dog with a Blog and Shake It Up.

I have to say I didn't really like Season 1 but now Season 2 is better. I've so far liked all the episodes in it so far. Keep rockin.

Ahh, I absolutely adore this show!!! It's Disney's number one show... Disney seriously needs to air it more often, NOT one episode per month. That's bullshit.

The show started as another cheesy sitcom but eventually flourished into something entertaining and watchable. This is Disney Channel's second best show.

Disney went downhill big-time with Shake It Up and So Random, I thought it hopelessly lost, but then Austin & Ally came. It started out as a cute show to past time. I always liked it, and, lately, the show has received AMAZING ratings and the episodes just keep getting better and better...

Disney, renew it for a third season already!!!

Austin and ally is really good now that they actually have a life im happy that austin and ally finally has something interesting it has finally improved from first season who cares for those that think its clueless and the same! I'm with the people that are cool! Those that like this show :) u guys rock!!!!

This is another one of the terrible shows on Disney. EXACT SAME plots of EVERY show on the stupid teen channel. A girl wants to be popular, overcome her fear of crowds, and writes lame songs for this clueless dumb blonde guy to perform. It is terribly boring, stupid, and cheesy. But what do you expect on Disney Channel?

Amazing show I loved season 1 of Austin and Ally but Season 2 is incredible you can see how much Raini,Laura,Calum, and Ross improved on there acting from Season 1. I enjoy the show very much I hope there will be a season 3.

Wow, last episode make nearly 5 million viewers, I'm pretty confident it will surpass the 5 million mark next episode... I love Austin & Ally!!!

I've always loved this show. It's cute. Has catchy music. The acting is also very good. AUSLLY SHIPPER!!!

So this show just happened to be on occasionally when I turned on my TV and I didn't used to think much of it, and for a while I was actually persistent about not watching it, but now I really like it.



Characters:

I don't get why everyone keeps saying the characters aren't interesting, because they are. They have fears, they have quirks, they have likes and dislikes, and they both compare and contrast each other. Like in the first episode when Austin tries to help Ally get inspired and he tells her to think of the beach she just whines, and then when the tables are switches Austin wants to know if there are cheerleaders in this make believe world of inspiration. And then there are the times when Dez does something stupid like eat a month old sandwich he pulled out of a tuba and you think Austin's about to tell him that's just gross but then he ends up eating it too. And I cracked up the first time I saw Ally munching on her hair! And we learn more about them with each episode. Austin has a few crushes, Ally shares some stories about her past, Trish and Dez become better friends, etc.



Plot:

Believe it or not, this show does have a few surprises. The episodes while they sometimes do cover ideas that have been done before, the execution is more original and hilarious. And unlike some people have mentioned about how systematic the show is from episode to episode it really isn't. Austin doesn't sing every show, Ally doesn't always write a new song, Trish well, she might get a new job every episode I'm not sure. But it's not always about Austin's career every show, sometimes they just mess around and act like kids. Personally, I enjoy their shenanigans.



Just from reading some of the other reviews I wanted to comment on some of the things that have come up a few times:

- As far as Austin and Ally getting together, I've enjoyed how he show has taken the situation up until now. Everyone knows what the majority of the fans want, but early on they had "Secrets & Songbooks" where Austin freaks out because he thinks Ally likes him and does everything possible to make her not. It was incredibly funny and ironic, as well as the time when Ally and Austin suspected their friends Dez and Trish of dating in "Backups & Breakups". I prefer them as friends personally because the show has just been funnier that way, but it's not a huge deal.

- Yes Trish's new jobs can get old after a while, though I find how her new job pertains to the episode more interesting than the idea of her getting so many jobs so quickly. There's one instance where Dallas quits his job to work for Ally's dad, and when Ally asks if it would be possible to get his old job back he says they've already hired somebody else. Guess who got a new job at the cell phone cart? It was just too perfect.

- Nelson isn't really my favorite character either to say the least, but that's okay.



Basically, it's a Disney Comedy/Sitcom. What did you expect? It's like reading the newspaper comics and asking "Where's the Mona Lisa?" It's a cute, funny show with music. I like it.

This show just gets better and better. It needs to be renewed for a third season.

The show is about a teen named Austin who makes songs with Ally, his friend, along with Dez,, another friend, and Trish, Ally's friend. Austin's famous.



Rest my case - another show about being famous, like Hannah Montana and Shake it Up.



Dez is my most hated character in the show. He screws up things so badly, it's not even funny. He can't even multiply 3 and 1. He also likes taking his pants off. I hate him.



Ally has stage fright. That makes her bad. Making one of the main characters have stage fright is as stupid as hell. Why couldn't she be NORMAL!



Trish constantly gets jobs and gets fired. It's very impossible. She also gave her friends crappy items, like a keychain, while SHE got a Flat-screen TV, laptop, and a trip to Hawaii. For rewards. Austin really did that. What a donkey (excuse my English).



Austin famous singer. Yep. He's just another famous boy. Nothing special. Dull and boring.



Laugh tracks? REALLY?! WHY HASN'T DISNEY REALIZED THAT LAUGH TRACKS ARE STUPID AND AS POINTLESS AS HELL! THE JOKES AREN'T EVEN THAT FUNNY!



This show is one of the worst I seen ever. 1/10.
