Show Summary

Australian Playhouse is a black and white television series consisting of short plays that was originally telecast in Australia on ABC channel between 1966 and 1967. It is created and produced by David Goddard and several of the writers make their television debut with this show, having moved on to fame from here. These include the likes of Patricia Flower, Tony Morphett, John Warwick, Michael Boddy and Colin Free. Australian Playhouse has received the Logie and the TV Society's Penguin awards.
