M. Night Shyamalan and Paramount will be bringing Avatar: The Last Airbender to the big screen. And this should be interesting... it's going to be live-action.

Oh lord...it'll be a rude awakening for this forum tomorrow. Wonder how this news will effect everyone?
That's some messed up stuff, nevertheless-

I mean, m'kay. All that crap about, "Hey wouldn't it be cool if there was a live-action movie for Avatar?" just really, alrighty then.

I haven't seen one animated or video game to movie that has been done well. But, I'll keep my hopes up, cuz for M. Knight to wanna make this movie it means he's a fan, so hopefully he knows what makes the show good and can translate that to the big screen. I still say any Avatar movie should be an animated one...
I wonder how they'll do Air and Waterbending. I already have Earth and Firebending being done realistically in my head. But, all the other two. I'm excited, skeptical, and annoyed all at once...
First, Variety has the info on their website and they are a reliable source, period end of story. Second, here is M. Night Shyamalan's mailing address should you wish to write to him:
M. Night Shyamalan
c/o United Talent Agency
9560 Wilshire Blvd.
5th Floor
Beverly Hills, CA 90212
Secondary address:
c/o Bloom, Hergott & Cook
150 South Rodeo Drive
3rd Floor
Beverly Hills, CA 90212
My wife and I are going to write to him and say something like, "You had better NOT screw this up or you will be getting hate mail for the rest of your life..."

| I just checked cnn.com and they dont mention anything about this. No real news website has confirmed this info. Everything sounds hoaxy to me, especially since n00bs created this thread. |
Does seem awfully iffy. I'm kinda hoping this turns out to be false myself. Like Zuko going Aang, I'm against a live action movie...
