Average Joe

Bush's special speech about Iraq that aired at the same time as this episode totally hurt the episode premiere of Average Joe. On the East Coast, the show was moved from 8PM timeslot to 10PM!

The third season premiere was ment to air on June 21, 2005, but NBC pushed it a week later.

When they set the contest to build a basket ball hoop, I guess they never required it be built correct, as the winner built her hoop with the base under the basket where it would be a trip hazard, rather than behind the basket

In first scenes of this episode, Adam found a pair of boxing gloves from Sylvester Stallone with an autograph on them, who is probably Adam's hero from childhood.

The runner up, and final Average Joe, in this season is "Average" Brian. Gil was the winning hunk.

Once again, a competetor left the cast -- Fredo.

The previews for this show shows Sean struggling with the rope however it is not shown in this episode

Justin's picture on the NBC site because he left the island due to personal issues was black and white, unlike the eliminated "Average Joes" which will be light purple/dark purple, with the word "ELIMINATED" written horizontally on the left side.

The runner up, and final Average Joe, in first season is "Average" Adam. The winning Joe is Jason.

Adam Mesh, the final Average Joe, was once featured in Fortune Magazine, since he is a millionaire.
