Already I can pick up several promising things about this show - a unique yet plausible storyline, a winning protagonist, and some interesting conflict. Hopefully it will continue to please!

Awkward: The MTV Show I Can Get Into

So I've NEVER watched anything on MTV before, but the commericals for Awkward just lured me in! I'm glad I saw it too because I felt like I could relate to everything that Jenna was going through in the pilot. At first, I was thinking that she was going to be in the cast for the entire series (thank goodness she wasn't), but I'm glad it didn't turn out that way! The rest of the cast is great too! I like Jenna's two best friends and I also like her crazy parents. Matty and Jake are also good love interests for her too! The Sadie character is hilarious as well. I was pleased to see that the show increased in ratings over time and got renewed for a second season. Can't wait for its premiere!moreless

New mtv show thats actually good.

With teen mom and jersey shore ruining mtv for me. This in my opinion saves it. This pilot was great. It does what pilot should make you like the character you are watching and to hate the bad people. At one point I wanted her to smack that cheerleader with her other hand that girl is annoying. The only thing i didn't like about it was that girl just does it with the guy in like the first 2 minutes which i thought was a little weird but hey she made a 16 and pregenant joke so i can forgive it for that. But honestly i can't wait for new episodes of this show. This episode is a must see!!moreless
