(Tomo returns) Chiyo: Where were you? Tomo: Advertising! I scattered cuteness all over the school.
Kimura Don't you think it's strange? It's a store, run by the swim team, and they're not wearing swimsuits!
Yukari: Don't be trapped in the past. Live in the present! Nyamo: Don't get drunk off orange juice.
(Yukari proposes burning the stuffed animals, much to the class' shock) Yukari: Eh? Weren't we going to give them all a memorial service and then burn them all in the end? Yomi: A memorial service for what?
Osaka: "Hanshin."
Hanshin is the area of Japan between and including Osaka and Kobe. You might have heard of the popular baseball team called the Hanshin Tigers. At least, you will at one point in Azumanga Daioh.
Osaka: "That's Tsutenkaku." Tsutenkaku is a tower in Osaka City. It is one of symbols of Osaka and is located in Shin-sekai. Osaka (the girl) explains to the customer that the stuffed animal is a replica of the tower.
