This is my favorite episode. All the babies, except Taz, come to the rapid conclusion that Marvin's weird and that no one should play with him. Granny reminds them that the fun of making new friends is that "sometimes what's on the outside, is different than what's on the inside" (HINT HINT WINK WINK). Still the LTs don't buy it and laugh as they ditch Marvin (and they later wonder why he wants to blow them all up?). Bugs really comes off as a big jerk in this episode, but the episode is a stepping stone to introduce to kids the idea of prejudice and tolerance. Lesson: Kids, don't judge people by their appearances (race, gender, size, clothing, etc).
Marvin really is an adorable character (even if he only said 3 words in the entire episode). He really comes off as shy and insecure, but essentially sweet once given the chance. If only the writers had expanded his character more instead of making him appear in one cameo. I would have watched this series more often had they kept Marv as a regular instead of Petunia or Melissa. What a waste.
