Londo and G'kar were the heart of the show.

A tough one 'cos they were all great!

To me though, despite being a B5 fan 1st and foremost, I felt there wasn't really anybody who was a particular stand-out character like eg. my all-time fave character Captain Kirk

I think that all the characters kind of formed together to make the whole as great as it was, so perhaps that's why (to me) Star Trek had the more stand-out characters

If I had to try to list the top 5, I think it would probably be something like...

    1. Garibaldi - down to earth, funny, flawed, real

    2. G'Kar - committed, adapted well to the realisation of the actual reality of the universe when he realised what was actually going on!

    2. Sinclair - as everyone says, under-rated. Honest, real, clever and not without wit

    2. Vir - honest, despite the ethic of his entire race would stand against it and fight for the good. Never had an empororship been more deserved!

    5. Sheridan - I was disappointed when Sinclair left and was unsure about all American boy John J Sheridan, but he was ok!

Others I really liked were of course Londo, Lyta and Marcus (perhaps =6th!), but as I say, they all worked in together well to form the best series ever made...! I might add that I could probably very well select another 5 on another day! - although I think these 'feel' right!

Many people may wonder where on B5 characters like Delenn, Ivanova and Stephen are! - I liked these too, but I seem to feel the ones mentioned just about shade it...

I think Bester and Morden also deserve a special mention aswell - 2 of the best baddies ever!!

Pretty much any cast member that was a regular for a long stretch of time and had an impact was great. But I'd have to go with Ivanova: Ivanova is always right. I will listen to Ivanova. I will not ignore Ivanova's recommendations. Ivanova is god.

Easily Ivanova, but Vir was great too. Also like Marcus. And G'Kar and Londo were great together but not as great separate.

Tie between Delenn and Ivanova, but I also really love Sheridan, Talia, G'Kar, Marcus, and Garibaldi. And I love Londo against my will.
