The Corps took me in, raised me, and taught me that because we are special we need to watch out for each other, even more than we would as mundanes. We are responsible for each other.

They kill and enslave and abuse each other with efficiency and enthusiasm. Why should we value their lives when they don't? It's a little harder with rogues and blips.
