Members of the Academy have been leaking lists of Emmy finalists for the 2008 Awards all week long. The most recent list to arise is Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.

I am pleased to say that Fred Willard is among the top 10 finalists in this category!

This doesn't mean that he will automatically get nominated, but he has a 50 / 50 chance. The Academy will now view his submitted episodes again and put their final votes in.

That being said, Patricia Heaton nor Kelsey Grammer have made the Lead Actors lists.

So far, it's all up to Fred to take home the Emmy gold for this excellent show!

Good for him, he deserves it.

Kinda ironic if you think about it, seeing how the show may be over.

Too bad Grammer or Heaton didn't make the semi-finals, but way to go Willard!

    Thanks for sharing this.
