Hmmm...as I watched a few episodes in close proximity my memory isn\'t utterly clear, so I\'ll just have to try and remember a few main thoughts and feelings - :
1. Ok, Janine is still growing on me. She looks set to become the main character of this season. I feel so sorry for her, she\'s this solitary, vulnerable figure who the two competing top dogs have decided to centre their battle around. At least Pat is genuinely looking out for her, even if not for the most generous of reasons.
2. I\'m enjoying the various tensions between Lou and other characters. She and Rowan are amusing - that actor has his character done just right, with the correct amount of both professional, monetary and sexual ambition.
3. I didn\'t think I\'d like Stella at the beginning of the episode but she actually grew-on me. She turned out quite well. I still don\'t like Joy, but found her more reasonable this episode than I have done in the past. However, I think the rape comment could have been acted a little better. And I have no idea why Joy would have given Stella a better room - that\'s so unlike her, even in that situation I would have thought that Joy would be testing Stella\'s ability to forego comfort.
4. I\'m a little confused by Donny\'s continued existence. What exactly is he there for? Are we getting another big criminal or is he merely going to become another scre with a side-investigation into the drugs? Is he there to work on all our future one episode guest stars?
5. I\'m also confused about Lou\'s story-line. Ok, I can cope with her being bi, with her four possible attractions - Pat, Rowan, Joy and her stripper - but can they please explain this lapdance business already! That said, I did miss the end of the episode (my video cut out) so I may be back to change this part of the review soon!
