I wonder why there isn't a category 'below average', because that's what I would have picked. I thought that this episode was maybe the weakest of the series so far.

Firstly, we've seen the whole inmate and PO take a day out and have sex routine in the past before now. This just didn't ring true to me. And what was with the setting inconsistency, moving from Greenwich to Camden and back again?

Secondly, I didn't enjoy the whole Rowan/Lou/Vicky saga this week at all. It's been so over-dramatic and predictable from the beginning, they couldn't have taken it much further but I do enjoy a little subtelty in my programs. If Rowan was planning to murder Vicky, (or, even just the fact that he did kill her) then surely that will come out when someone remembers the piss test came out negative - i.e. the piss test that Rowan took care of 5 minuted before Vicky 'ODed'. Thirdly, I loved Lou when she was introduced to us. She seemed like a really strong independent female. Now she just seems weak and needy. She couldn't have fallen for Rowan so quickly! Nor did her response of half-killing him seem like her. I want the cool detatched Lou, who would come up with a clever revenge, not this emotional wreck. Joy's appearance this episode wasn't so great. I had finally started to like her before she left and I'm worried that may be all reversed again.

Also, the free Bev campaign was ridiculous. It would make sense if a prisoner had been unfairly imprisoned - Chris last year as an example, but maybe the writers are just coming up with/running out of ideas and chucking them all into the mix - Bev was on drugs, this was proven, of course the prison were going to try and help her go cold turkey. Why would the other inmates care that much?

I noticed that Pat was missing this episode, and we didn't see much of Tina. It seemed like quite a small-scope that we did get to see, with all of two story-lines and all minor ones still attached to those.moreless
