Araragi offers to help her by introducing her to Meme Oshino, a middle-aged homeless man and one who helped Araragi stop being a vampire. • A really great and very different show.

    8.0
The story is centred around Koyomi Araragi, an apathetic but good natured high schooler who for a brief period was a vampire. However, thanks to the assistance of a strange old man named Meme Oshino he was able to become hman again, although there are some side effects (such as his rapid healing). Through chance, fate or pure bad-luck Araragi constantly encounters people (usually cute girls) who have been affected by 'apparitions' and he sets out to help them once again live normal lives.

The plot is very intriguing and the characters are far from your normal stereotypes. Both of which make this darkly comic but with some real depth as well. The animation is also excellent utilising strange angles, bizarre devices and almost surrealist moments to bring the show to life. All in all this is an excellent show and in many ways reminds me of Tokyo Majin Gakuen Kenpuchou Tou, although I am not quite sure why.moreless
