Dan determines that he will save Jake from the Gundalians at all costs, but before he can figure out how to go to Gundalia and save Jake Jake mysteriously returns to Nethia. When he begins speaking about technology he has never known about before, Dan suspects Jake has been brainwashed and sets up a test to see if his suspicions are true or not.
