I don't know; have to finish watching Band of Brothers, but Saving Private Ryan was pretty darn good. We'll have to see.

language, violence, and some kids parent complained when he son/daughter couldnt watch saving private ryan but the rest of the class could(meanwhile she was the one not letting him) so we cant watch any movie just documentaries but maybe it will change in High School

I like Band of Brothers better, although saving private ryan is very good. When we did our section on the Holocaust we watched Shindler's List, Ashes of Sobibor and a few others, but saddly we didnt watch that ep. of Band of Brothers. If our parents said we couldn't watch one of them, our teacher just gave us a packet of work to do and sent us to the library. Hey, csiobsessed14, where do u live? Is it like a huge trip for your school to visit Auschwitz? My teacher has visited it and many other death/concentration camps, but we haven't.

i wanna visit Auschwitz and Normandy and the Ardennes forest and the remnants of Camp Taccoa, well hell, i wanna visit everywhere but there was a thing in a book i read, said joining WW2 round tables was a good idea to get involved or wutever, well i came up with a better idea. im probly gunna sound weirdish but i wanna just start a group of enthusiasts like myself and just go everywhere i can with as little tour guides as i can. besides, ive always wanted to leave America and go elsewhere for a while, this would be a great way to do it, i just dont know how i would get ppl to come with me once im able to leave.

anyone who thinks its a good idea say yes. if u thinks im nuts, say holy sh*t your nuts(which i am)

band of brothers is better than Savin private ryan beacuse it is more detailed about the war and you get to know the characters more than saving private ryan. you also get to see more of the war.

Even though band of brothers is great, I would probably choose Saving Private Ryan.

I'd have to go Band of Brothers. They have the same guys at the top making the decisions - but as good as Private Ryan was, and it was great, Band of Brothers takes you through the whole experience from basic all the way to the end. Along with that is the fact that Band of Brothers just lasts longer - and you can't get too much of a good thing.
