Last week, the premiere of "Barbershop: the series" debuted. Many viewers thought that the show was unoriginal and declared never to watch it again. And this was only after watching the first episode. How can you judge a show from its initial episode? I thought the show was funny and very pleasurable to watch. It goes in a different direction with the characters personal lives.

But after viewing the second installment last night, I am beginning to see what others are talking about. First off, why is the second episode entitled "Nigger Lovers"? That immediately rubbed me the wrong way and also seeing the young customer running around the community and shouting the word was disturbing. I did not like the second episode at all. I hope the show develops better stories in the future.moreless
