Barbershop: The Series

The premiere episode starts off with Calvin Palmer, the owner of Calvin Jr.'s (a local barbershop that was handed down to him from his late father), breaks the news to his eccentric crew of barbers by announcing that his wife's distant cousin Romadal will be working at the shop as a new barber. Everyone is skeptical to this news since Romadal has just been released from prison. But Calvin reassures them that everything will be alright. Meanwhile, Terri, the hot-head female stylist, has problems dealing with her "anger issues" when she learns that someone has stolen her identity, and the Nigerian barber Yinka asks Calvin to help him talk "dirty' to women.
