      • Fats: Noooo Mama, no, no.
Mama: Now Fats, don't be bashful.
Fats: Noooo Mama, no, Mama, Mama, no.
Mama: Now, now, Fats, don't be silly, here's another helping.
Fats: I like it Mama but it's just a little too sticky. I'm used too eating food just a little more smooth and my stomach is killin' me. Just a little too hard too swallow.
Mama: Charlie bring on some more wine. Officer Fats is having trouble with his stomach.
Baretta: All we got to do is find a corkscrew.
Charlie: Tony, I got to be the luckiest guy in the world.
        Baretta: How come Charlie?
Charlie: Did you know that she went out with one of them European counts one time?
        Baretta: No kiddin'.
        Charlie: And an Earl too.
Baretta: An Earl wow, whatever the hell that is.
Charlie: You won't believe this, but she's just too good for me.
Baretta: Aw now Charlie man, let me give you a little advice from my old man, he always said, 'Son, whenever you think you ain't good enough for somebody, it's cuz you ain't seein' yourself, the way they're seein' you. Alright Fats, here's the wine, here so you can make that food go down into your big belly. I'm embarrassed Mama, man comes to your house and eats your food and complains that it ain't greasy enough, outta keep him outside with the dog.

      • Baretta: The Angels that exist are the ones you hang on Christmas trees, the other Angels. The flesh and blood ones, they gotta struggle just like you and me and they make mistakes just like you and me Charlie, but what makes them special is they learn from their mistakes. Now Amy is special Charlie, honest to God my right hand she's special, don't blow it Charlie. People don't get many chances in this world, only one once in awhile and you gotta great chance Charlie, don't blow it. I'll fix it, whatever it is, you and me together pal, we'll fix it. Okay Honey Bear you understand?
Charlie: I understand. I understand that Tony, but what am I gonna tell my mama!

      • Charlie: Hey Tony, what happened to your dress? You sure did look nice in that dress.
Baretta: Stop that you cutie pie. Thanks to you, I can put away my trust for awhile. We were lookin' for them guys. You did alright Charlie.
Brubaker: Hey Charlie, did you finish making out your report?
Charlie: Yep, and the boys said I did a real good job too.
Brubaker: Good, good, hey Tony, why don't you and Charlie kick back and buy him a beer while you're at it.
Baretta: Mais we we. Come on Charlie, see how nice my Boss is, when he says one beer he means maybe 20 to 50 for you and me both on him.
        Brubaker: I said WHAT!
Baretta: Ah Charlie my man, just a few more folks like you in the world and there wouldn't be a need for people like me.
        Charlie: Aw Tony.

      • Fats: Mama, what do you call this?
        Mama: Goulash
Fats: Golashes, I always thought that was something you put on your feet when it rains.
