      • Billy: You had no way of knowing that kid would turn out to be emotionally unbalanced. He escaped you didn't let him go.
Baretta: Emotionally unbalanced yeah, I'll ya somethin' though, that guy Pogo, he was on my list before this whole thing started, he's on my list now, and he will fall Billy boy, and you can take that to the bank.
Billy: Yeah well you can't clear up all by yourself in a week. Remember what your old man used to say, ' Keep strokin', keep strokin' ... Ouzo!
Baretta: That's right old man, just keep strokin' and he will fall. Maybe not today, and maybe not tomorrow, but he will fall.

      • Baretta: I'm not here preachin' the ten commandents to ya, what ya did was wrong sir, you don't kill people, you live your life that's all, you take your hurts, you swallow them and live with them, and you do your thing. Yours was swampin' out grocery stores, me I'm a cop, my thing is keepin' the streets clean. Neither one of us can play God sir, and that's what you did and that was wrong. You understand that.
Niko I'm sorry for the trouble I'm causing you.
Baretta: Trouble man, you're no trouble, you made a mistake, a big bad mistake, like I make mistakes, like the whole world makes mistakes. You know what trouble is, I'll tell ya what trouble is, it's people who know their doin' wrong, and they go ahead and keep on doin' it. Those are bad people. I got trouble, I got three people out there in the streets, countrymen of yours. They sell dope to kids, their boss is a Godfather his name is Pogo. In the last six months, two kids died of OD's, not teenagers, I'm talkin' bout kids. You know what they're doin' now, they're makin' nine and ten year olds sell drugs because they can't do hard time. Those people are trouble in this world.
Niko: Pogo Estania and his brother are killing kids.
        Baretta: You know them.
Niko: All we Greeks now about each other.
Baretta: Yeah, anyway everyday I tell myself I'm gonna bury him. I'm gonna put him under. And every day they stay on the streets it eats my guts up a little bit more. Anyway those are the people who make real trouble in this world. You your just in trouble.

      • Baretta: We used to pitch pennies when we were kids, but when we wanted to sell somethin' it was all rags and bottles we stole from the grocery store. These kids are sellin' dope. The world must be doin' somethin' wrong, huh.
Fats: You can say that again partner.
