    • TRIVIA (1)

      • This episode starts off with Baretta's surprise birthday party. Billy is dancing with Rosie, Foley, Shiller are also there from the department as well as Mimi.

    • QUOTES (3)

      • Baretta: (to Billy and Rooster) Amen brother, as long as that window over there is open, I can hear them sounds and smell them smells, I know who I am.

      • Baretta: I love two brothers, one good and one bad. But I love the bad one most.
        Michael: Mary said that.
Baretta: Yeah, .... tastes like cough medicine. Yeah brother Michael, that's what she said. Now it's your turn to say something, but you're too smart for that ain't ya. You know all you gotta do is keep your mouth shut and they will never be able to carry you off. All I got is alot of circumstantial evidence, and if I got you in a court room you would blow me out of the water in five minutes wouldn't ya.
Michael: Where do you think she is Tony?
Baretta: In the land of Nod, East of Eden, you know about that don't ya, I asked a priest he says that means she's wandering. Remember I said she took a cab, well that's what she did, and boy for her sake I hope she stays away.
        Michael: I love her Tony.
Baretta: Somehow that news fails to disquiet me my man, in other words, I don't care. Oh brother George, come on in, yes, have a drink. Scotch I believe it is, right here, don't you want to hear what I got to say.
George: Not particularily. Michael look ...
Baretta: Come on now, Im just trying to tie up a few loose ends, before I pack my bags. You see it seems brother Michael here, has got a problem on account he was dancing in the dark with your old lady, just like you were with Catherine, only Michael got a little tense cuz this charade's got money. So you snuffed the tank commander Eric, you didn't know that did you George?
George: What about the affair, yes I knew about it. And I appreciated my brothers discretion.
Baretta: Phew, boy, boy, boy no wonder she took a cab. Man with a pair like you to draw to and Eric for a whole card .... mmm.

      • Mimi: (to Baretta): I found the tequila.
Baretta: Oh well, listen Darling, ah the old chili dogs gonna have to go on ice for awhile, on account of duty calls.
Schiller: Baretta, sometimes I'm not sure what the hell language you're talking.

    • ALLUSIONS (1)

      • Baretta to Michael: "In the land of Nod, East of Eden."

        This is a biblical reference.

And the Lord said unto him [Cain], Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the Lord set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him.
And Cain went out from the presence of the Lord, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.
        -- Genesis 4: 15-16
