      • Billy: Tony where have you been? Brubaker has called nine times. I've been ringing your phone off the hook. What's going on? Ohhhh, that's what's going on.
Baretta: Ah Billy my boy, I'd like you to meet my cousin Maggie from Duluth.
Billy: Duluth, your family gets around.
Baretta: Ah yeah, Maggie is staying with us for the weekend she's just passing thru.
Billy: How nice, we'll try to make our humble surroundings meet with your obvious grace and charm.
Baretta: You hold down the fort, cause Uncle Tony is goin' out and learnin' how to dance.
Billy: Oh yeah, learn how to dance. It's quite a family resemblance.
        Baretta: Yeah isn't there.
Billy: You know I've met over a thousand of his cousins.
        Baretta: A-men
Billy: Fred that boy will never die of old age, he may die in bed but not of old age.

      • Brubaker: Look Baretta, will you just hold your water.
Baretta: You know when I was a littler whipper, I used to dance all around this place, ain't got nothin' to do, I think I'll take me a little walk.
Brubaker: I never heard a thing. Just watch yourself with those SWAT guys, they'll blow you away in a minute. You be back by night fall.
        Baretta: I'll be there.

      • Rooster: Five dollars to play tag huh, you raise that to twenty I'll tell the ladies to put on their tennis shoes.
Baretta: Ha ha ha, you got some business.
Rooster: I didn't come here to catch crud. Say my good man, you mind lettin' these ladies have your seat. I really appreciate that brother, thank you much. My good man, champagne.
        Harrigan: What vintage?
        Rooster: 39
Harrigan: 39 cents or 39 years?
Rooster: What is this cat, a comedian man? Jive turkey. People tell me I talk too much, but I tell you somethin' only thing that makes the Rooster crow is survival.
Baretta: Tell me somethin' I don't know.

      • Baretta: Oh the big shot is here.
Rooster: Hey, I'm gonna cook that bird. Did he get my hat?
Baretta: Yeah, with that pigeon on Third Street, just look at this. What are ya stealin' garbage like that for? It's bad for your belly, don't ya know that. What am I gonna do with you? Huh! What am I gonna do with you? Here, there's five bucks, I want you to go back to that supermarket and pay for what you stole. Ya hear me, then buy yourself somethin' good to eat and go on home. Tell your mother I want to see her and you at the 53rd Precinct. My name's Baretta. Now remember kid, I'm faster than you. You gonna be there. Get outta here. They get younger all the time don't they Fred.
