The office of Barnaby Jones, the building seen in every episode in particular coming back from the commercial breaks is the former Security Pacific National Bank building in Downtown Pasadena, on the corner of Colorado Bl and Merengo Avenue. The art-deco building still stands although it is no longer a S N F B building. At the beginning of every season the cast and crew filmed footage there used throughout the year. During Barnaby Jones' run, that section of Downtown Pasadena had free standing stores, restaurants and offices, now it is the sire of the open air mall Paseo Colorado with the Barnaby Jones office building still there.
