      • Boyer: (noticing Dietrich's nameplate) Dietrich, A.? ARTHUR Dietrich?? Dietrich:For the time being.Boyer: Of course... Oh... To think that I... Oh my G...Could I, could I shake your hand? Dietrich: Sure. It's no big thing.Boyer: (shaking Dietrich's hand) What an honor this is, sir. (to the other detectives) You're all very privileged... Harris: (VERY annoyed) Come on, Mr Spock. You want to move it?(leading him out as all stare at Dietrich) Dietrich: Hey. I couldn't have done it without you!

      • Harris: Come along, Mr. Spock.

Harris glibly ridicules Mr. Boyer (the alleged time traveller) by linking him with the science fiction icon Mr. Spock. Played by Leonard Nimoy (and later Zachery Quinto), Mr. Spock originally appeared on the TV series Star Trek (1966-1969) and appeared in succeeding Star Trek movies, books, TV series and other media. The logical alien (and sometime time traveller) is on of television's most famous and recognizable creations.
