Barris & Company is a talk show that aired on Canadian television from 1968 to 1969. Barris & Company typically aired after the conclusion of the Canadian Broadcasting Company's hockey games. The show was hosted by head writer Alex Barris and featured both interviews with Canadian entertainment and sports personalities, as well as short, comedic skits. Barris was joined on the show by co-host Alex Trebek, who later went on to great fame as the host of the television show Jeopardy. Another notable contributor was writer Lorne Michaels, who eventually moved on to create the historic comedy program, Saturday Night Live.
