Barry Bonds goes deep for the 715th time passing Babe Ruth for sole possession of second place on the MLB all-time home run list. He now trails only Hank Aaron who has 755. Bonds is now the most prolific left-handed home run hitter in MLB history. The record for most professional home runs belongs to the great Negro League slugger Josh Gibson who hit 962 HR's in his career including 75 in his second season.
