Pretty big step down to the quality that this episode followed. The fighting since the beginning of this anime has regressed quite a bit and has dumbed down to this "I made a move so now it's your turn" thing rather than the dynamic and nicely choreographed battles we've seen before. Though it isn't the lacking in action that brought this episode down. It just lacked substance and a bit of originality. Gyobu's flashback and backstory was nice, too many it was a bit predictable. Whose father wasn't killed in a war that they're now looking for revenge? And it wasn't executed really that well to help compensate for it.
