An intellectual change from other reality shows. This program demonstrates what real, dedicated singers endure. Their preparation includes vocal training, emotive performance and an overall performance. This show gives the viewer a chance to see the enormous amount of study, dedication and talent required of an opera singer. Judging of the contestants is left to the professionals who train the singers. This is not a popularity contest to be judged by the viewers as the pathetic American Idol.
