Although this episode bombs around at a rapid pace, leaving the viewer little time to engage with particular scenes, it is a good effort because it deviates significantly from the regular Batman format.

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (4)

    • When the "quick-drying" epoxy glue is blown off of Batman's left wrist, you can tell it is merely a rather flimsy saran wrap which isn't solid or even liquid at all.

    • At the studio, Batman cuts through one of the two ropes holding the net up. However, that side stays suspended until he cuts through the second rope on the other side. Then both sides drop simultaneously.

    • When Batman, Blaze, and Robin run around the corner chasing False Face, right before they knock False Face off his motorcycle, there is a clear shot of the stuntman playing Burt Ward and he's at least 10 years older than Burt Ward.

    • When Batman unmasks "Commissioner Gordon" at the end, Batman's body partially blocks "Gordon's" face, but it's still clear that False Face's is unmasked before Batman removes the Commissioner Gordon mask.

  • QUOTES (1)

  • NOTES (2)

    • We learn here that Commissioner Gordon is right-handed, as is evidenced by the fact that False Face was holding a hankerchief in his left hand while disguised as Commissioner Gordon, which Batman was able to identify presumably through memory.

    • During the scene at The Bioscope Movie studios in which Chief O'Hara drives up to The False Inflatable Batmobile, look carefully in the rearview mirror. You can see cameraman Howard Schwartz in the car's back seat!
