This is another Batman episode in which a character loses their life. The first was in "Smack in the Middle".
Narrator: Has Batman struck out? Is Robin cool...for good? Can no one save our noble pair of human popsicles? Answers...Tomorrow night! Same time, same channel! But one word of warning: By watching, you too can lose your cool!
Freeze: I will toy with him like cat with mouse. I will lure him right to the scene of the crime. First I toy, then I destroy!
Batman: Poor devil... forced to live in an air-conditioned suit that keeps his body temperature down to 50 degrees below zero! No wonder his mind is warped.
George Sanders at one time was married to Zsa Zsa Gabor, who would later play the villainess Minerva in the final episode "Minerva, Mayhem and Millionaires".
This is the first appearance of George Sanders as Mr. Freeze.
Based on "The Ice Crimes of Mr. Zero" from Batman #121 (February 1959) by Dave Wood. Mr. Zero was changed to Mr. Freeze for the TV series, and the comics followed suit.
