The now late Van Johnson (he passed away yesterday) as a cunning, charismatic stock swindling (aren't they all) minstrel who bobby traps the market and expects to be paid for it not to happen again, which has investors in a panic and women swooning. Batman and Robin are called upon to thwart his scheme of phony stock prices. It turns out to be a battle of electronic wits with the Minstrel having the upper hand. They home in on his TV signal and track him down only to find him waiting for them. Not terribly original but somewhat entertaining. Cameo by Phyllis Diller as a daffy cleaning woman.
