  • We get our first look at Catwoman and quite a sight it is. My only real negative for this episode is the rather lackluster fight scene.

Batman and Robin are finally matched against the Catwoman. This meeting doesn't have the "charged" interplay between Batman and Catwoman that we come to see in the later episodes. Even Robin is knocked out from the scratch of a real cat and not Catwoman herself.

After Batman and Robin later fall through a trap door, they are faced with spike-linked walls that start closing in. Batman directs Robin to lay on the floor in order to protect him. This turns out not to be the cliff hanger, however, as the wall stops as Batman finds the spikes are made of rubber. Robin is soon whisked away through a tube in the ceiling leaving Batman alone in the room. Catwoman presents him with the task of choosing one of two doors: one to freedom, the other unleashes a Batman-eating tiger. The episode ends with Batman choosing the "wrong" door.

Camp: Batman reminding Robin to wear his seatbelt.
