When the Tutlings steal the Sphinx, they say there's only one light on in the house. However, there are two lights on in the house behind them.
Narrator: A quiet, balmy midnight in Gotham City. Not a creature is stirring, except these creatures... though they're barely stirring. And this creature - an Egyptian King? And a tank full of crocodiles? In our beloved borough?
Gordon: I still don't understand how you could be rendered unconscious by a... lead pencil.
Man of Distinction: "Pestle," Commissioner. A lead pestle.
Batman: (on the phone) Hello, Dean Gerber, this is Batman. "Batman." B-A-T-M-A-N. That's right, Dean Gerber, in Gotham City.
King Tut: Breathe, my children. Free yourselves from the arms of Osiris. Shake off the shackles of the sepulcher. Live... live... live!
Amenophis Tewfik: They ain't livin'.
Robin: And, uh, what's in the back room?
Royal Apothecary: Trolls and ghouls and amulets. Evil spells that will turn your bones to celery stalks.
Batman: Nonetheless, I think we should take a look for ourselves.
Narrator: Is Robin doomed? Those crocodiles look mighty hungry. Was Tut right? They'd soon be having a tasty dinner? Or was he merely shedding crocodile tears? Above all, will Batman arrive before the Boy Wonder's perch slide's away? Tune in your Batsets tomorrow. Same Time. Same Channel.
Batman: I know. Hieroglyphics self-taught are a chore, Robin. But, it is a surefire way to unravel the secrets of the ancient mystics.
Robin: But what is it?
Batman: Scarabaeus Sacer. A species of ancient Egyptian beetle. Sacred to the Sun God, Hymeopolos. And from which the term "scarab" is derived. But you should know that, Robin. If you're up on your studies of Egyptology.
Robin: You're right.
Green Hornet: (meeting Batman and Robin while they are climbing a building) What are you doing here?
Batman: I might ask you the same question.
Green Hornet: Pursuing the enemies of law and order, wherever they happen to be.
Batman: Aren't you in the wrong city?
Green Hornet: On special assignment for The Daily Sentinel. You know my aide, Kato?
Batman: Robin, the Boy Wonder.
Green Hornet: Well, I don't want to hold you up from your crimefighting.
Batman: Thank you and good luck to you, Mr Hornet.
Kato: Nice to have met you.
Robin: (Green Hornet and Kato close the window) Gosh, Batman. What are they dressed like that for?
