Episode Recap

Blight and his henchmen are raiding Plastech so he can keep people from finding out his secret. However, Batman intervenes and all Blight can take is two barrels. After the bad guys leave, Batman finds his first clue connecting Blight to Derek Powers. One of Blight's henchmen left a card that identifies him as one of Wayne-Powers' security guards.

Once again, Blight is covered by a plastic skin resembling the original appearance of Derek Powers. However, Powers' medical team warns him that his radiation is not only causing his plastic skins to dissolve faster than before but are also affecting his mind. Powers is also told how hard it is to acquire more of the special plastic through legal means. Realizing he can't keep up with the charade for long, Powers decides to call for someone.

Meanwhile, at the headquarters of Wayne-Powers' Verdeza branch, Several people are protesting against Paxton Powers because of mow much he polluted the area. Paxton is told that his father wants him back in Gotham.

Upon leaving Gotham Airport, Paxton sees his father waiting for him inside a limo. Derek explains he's planning on making Paxton the new CEO of Wayne-Powers. Paxton wonders about that until Derek explains he must leave due a health problem and, by removing his dark glasses and showing his green glow, let Paxton in the Blight secret. Derek says he'll still tell Paxton what to do and, if Paxton works right, he'll get some real power in the end.

Later on, when Terry is driving Bruce to the company's headquarters, he sees several people protesting against Powers and then he comments on how he no longer feels himself alone until he notices they're protesting against Paxton, not Derek. Bruce explains to Terry that Paxton is Derek's son and that this protest is because Derek intends to promote him.

At the shareholder's meeting, which Terry is able to see since it's being shown on TV, Derek announces he's temporarily leaving the public life due to health problems and that his son Paxton will take care of his business until his return. Suddenly a fisherman from Verdeza shows up to protest. Derek is so enraged he slips his secret. Terry is shocked at finding out Powers is Blight.

Before Blight has the chance to hurt anybody, Batman shows up to arrest him but the Batcuffs weren't made to resist Blight's radiation and Blight escapes. Back at Wayne Manor, Bruce asks if Terry wonders how Powers became Blight and Terry suggests Powers was born like that. Bruce reminds Terry about the chemical gas and deduces Powers became Blight as a result of the treatment he submitted himself to in order to save himself from being killed by the gas and Terry shows no remorse to this.

Via the videophone, Paxton thanks the board of directors for supporting his ascension as CEO. He then gets a call from his father, who wants his doctors to provide him a new plastic skin so he can flee town. Rather than granting his request, Paxton tries to convince him to turn himself for treatment but Derek refuses and turns off the phone.

Batman is flying around the town searching for Derek Powers when he sees a Batsignal and tracks it to Paxton. Paxton explains that his father's medical team has developed a way to cure him but Derek Powers' mind is so damaged by the radiation a dialogue is no longer an option so he needs Batman's help to locate him. Batman agrees. After Batman leaves Paxton's office, the fisherman appears and Paxton tells him to prepare his fishing net.

Bruce asks Terry if he trusts Paxton and Terry explains Paxton is a son trying to cure his father but Terry believes prison to be the place for it. Bruce reveals he knows of the human nature and suspects Paxton's true intentions.

Blight is found inside a nuclear submarine, which explains why Batman's sensors couldn't locate his radiation since he was in a place that was radioactive itself. Batman explains that Powers killed his father but Powers tells it doesn't narrow things down very much. Blight is then captured within a net and Paxton reveals his true colors. He intends to kill his father to secure control over Wayne-Powers. In the end, the submarine sinks and Blight is believed to have perished with him but Batman tries to make Paxton not so sure of it.
