  • In this episode Blight/Derek Powers is unable to contain his rage or his human form. He is set up and provoked by protestors so that he can show his true "colors". It's up to Terry/Batman to stop him without going too far.

I love this episode. Derek Powers temper is hilarious and over the top. It really fits well with his physical reaction. He literally burns through the skin. His son is a moron when it comes to being a criminal and it obviously upsets Derek. The Old School Bat Signal was a nice touch. I like the quote, "next time use e-mail"

I'm still upset that this cartoon was canceled and I plan on buying the DVD set when it is available. It's a great cliffhanger...you know that Derek is motivated to come back whether it will be against Batman or his own son.

A brilliant episode of the series

With batman ruining his attempts to steal more synthetic skin powers realises his will have step out of the limelight.

His son paxton is set up as his proxy to be the public face of wayne powers while the old man pulls the strings.

unfortunatly paxton is a lot smarter than anyone thinks.

his actions cause daddy to lose his temper in public and show off his radioactive side.

The scene where we see powers Jnr paying off the environmental protesters that annoyed daddy powers was great

The endng was kinda the one people have been waiting for all season Terry`s dad`s murderer get his comupance .

It\'s just a shame we dont see Blight again

when it was strongly hinted he was still kicking around

  • Unable to find a solution or permanent skin replacements for mutated body, Derek Powers steps down and enlists his son, Paxton to run the company, but not before his secret is revealed.

one of the best! we get Blight/Powers secret out in the open and it's funny that Bruce and Terry (especially Bruce) didnt put it together before now. the way Paxton deals with his father is reminiscent (at least to me) the way people try to deal with sick animals or older relatives. he essentially labeled him a "freak" and felt he should be locked up or put to rest like the rest of them. in his defense he did try to help him at 1st but that didnt last long. the dialogue was some of the best in the series to this point and i think it was a nice touch leaving the door open for a Blight return (although they never revisited that angle). nice ending to season 1.
