No way. Season 1 was the only season of this show that was darker than B:TAS.

The hole series was darker than BTAS, BB is the darkest show in the DCAU

Not visually (that would be B:TAS). But in terms of theme... you would have a point, except a lot of Batman Beyond was high school drama, and that's not exactly dark.

It's really dark like the first episode of the Stalker when I thought he died when he fell of on the train...or in Rebirth..batman (Bruce) using a gun to save himself...or Derek's bodyguard dying in the ship....about the high school.yeah...it was used to much

Yeah, Stalker's episode was really dark. I was actually quite shocked at that, like when the panther mauls him in the flashback. And "Earth Mover" is absolutely disturbing (but excellent).

    Haven't watched it.

And with Earth Mover....I think that the first time I saw it I was 6 or 7 and I really had to look at the floor at the part of the skeleton..It's reeeeeaaaaally disturbing

    I think that it's Ra's getting into Talia's body or something...I didn't watch it.

You must. I didn't see it until like 2 years ago, and I knew a lot of the story, but it was still a great episode. It must have been a real shock to people who didn't know what was coming.

Most people do, but I think Terry was an excellent addition to the Batman mythos.

I like Batman tas better, but that doesn't mean I didn't think that Batman Beyond wasn't great.

Yeah, same here, the original, in things like these, are usually better, with this not being an exception.

Both are good shows, but "Batman" is the better show of the two. It was just grittier and more vicious.

I like beyond a lot, but have to say that Batman was better. Still, all the DCAU shows are better than most things I've seen recently.

I must admit that it is a tough call- in the end i shall settle with BTAS, although BB is only slightly far behind and i love the fact that the same actor does the older Bruce Wayne in BB

I like both Batman because its "a classic" and Batman Beyond because its the right show to close the Batman saga and leave a powerfull "Legacy of the Bat"

Like was said time and time again there are few that can match bruce in wits, prescence intellect and sorry to say but terry isnt one of them but he still is a great batman. It was a different time and a different kind of hero was needed, street smart and more rough.

Batman:TAS over Batman Beyond because I cared about the villians; You wanted to know what happened to The Joker and Harley Quinn, the history about what made them who they were and their interpretation of Batman.
