i think that grayson would win but terry would be very tricky and come close but lose

I think Dick to I'm not sure Terry is pretty smart too and is well trained.

But in Epilogue it looked like Terry was fully trained to fight even without the suite.Bruce had to have start training him for him in the end of ROTJ and Epilogue.

In Epilogue Terry was about the same age as Grayson is now. The big difference is Nightwing has already been on his own for some time now while Terry "looks" like he is still with Bruce in some way or another.
I wish Terry would win but Grayson has more fighting experience and I just don't see Terry winning a fight against a gang of Jokerz without the suit while Grayson has arobatic qualities to win a fight.

I also want to point out that Terry's is more of a street brawler by nature while Dick has some maneuverability and aerobatics on his side.

I would give this fight to Dick because he has more training and has been on his own for much longer.

yeah cause bruce obviously wouldn't coach him while he was fighting him, so he'd be on his own

Grayson would destroy McGinnis. Now considering both of them are at their peak, Grayson would still have considerably more experience at fighting crime and his skills as an acrobat would give him a further leg up. Lastly, McGinnis was dependant on a suit for most of his crime fighting while Grayson only had his staff and make-shift weapons; no jet propulsion, super-vision or mechanics helping his cause.

Dick Grayson would win , Bruce tought him how to fight , Bruce diddn't teach Terry to fight , he just gave him a suit to use

in a straight-up fistfight, Dick would own Terry and beat him to the ground, but if they had the suits, this one does grudgingly go to McGinnis

hmm, i was just going to make this topic.

in fact, i came to this board, simply to ask this.

anyway, i'd have to agree, that grayson would take down terry, all things being equal. i think he'd also win with terry in the suit, though. it's not like it'd be his first tyme fighting a (technically) stronger opponent.

yeah, nightwing would beat future batman.

I think if Terry had the suit, he'd beat Nightwing. Otherwise, Grayson would win.

Through out the series, it is evident that although Terry is very athletic and resiliant, he is not as intelligent as Grayson is. Bruce not only taught Grayson how to the fight, but how to use his head, something that (Much to Bruce's dismay) Terry did not quite master. Terry would have a physical edge with the bat suit, but Grayson could figure out a way to nutralize the suit thus leveling the playing field.

I think we're forgetting the fact that Bruce himself designed the suit. It stands to reason that it would be resilient enough to withstand whatever attempts to neutralize the suit Grayson comes up with on-the-fly.

If Grayson had time to plan out a strategy, maybe he could come up with something. But you have to think Bruce took into account every possible contingency that he thought could come up in battle. Meaning, any attempts to short out or otherwise neutralize the suit would probably not work.

You know what makes absolutely no sense? The fact that Bruce could make the suit create Batarangs on demand, has a wrist laser, camoflogue, etc... but not bulletproof, or laser proof. I mean c'mon. I can understand that that would completely ruin the series if he could walk through any attack unharmed, but seriously. They could have made the suit laser proof. I just always thought that was odd.

That's a good point but it would make him too much like Superman, you know?

Nah, since Superman can't deflect laser shots. But my point was that Bruce should have thought of that while creating the suit. But then when you think about it, Bruce never got shot(to my knowledge) so he wasn't worried about that. Also he created the suit for himself, and probably never even thought about someone succeding him. Also that would destroy the reason why Batman is popular, his vulnerable-ness, without it, he'd be another Superman. So that's why...uhh...I've lost myself... If you are still reading I applaud you! But if not, then you suck !
