I was watching the dvd and realized that Batman hardly ever worked with Robin. I wanted to know if anyone else thought this was strange? The majority of the episodes he works with Batgirl, which I can understand considering she was rarly used in B: AS. I always thought it would be great if the series would show Bruce and Tim's partnership develope and grow stronger.

He appears in 12 episodes out of 24. Half. That's fine with me, he appears much more less in BTAS (dick robin)

Batgirl appears in 15 out of 24 episodes. Its OK

I agree. Dick Robin got many more episodes in TAS but we didn't get to see very much developement between Bruce and Tim (Bruce Timm xD!)

While it's true Dick didn't appear in half the episodes of the previous series the episodes Dick appeared in was just Batman and Robin. What I'm trying to say is even though he didn't appear regularly you still got that Bruce and Dick were partners and had a father/son relationship. I don't see the same thing from Bruce and Tim, granted I don't expect Batman to have the same relationship with Tim as he did with Dick, especially since Bruce just met Tim but I thought it would develop more.

I felt there should have been more episodes with just Batman and Robin to develop there relationship into not only partners, but also father and son. I will admit episodes like Never Fear and Growing Pains did have great development for Bruce and Tim.

Agreed. Growing Pains showed a different side to their relationship. A more serious side and a side showing how Batman is sort of an over-protective father-type. Never Fear was also good with development but it doesn't give me the same feel of developing as Growing Pains.

I know what you mean Never Fear showed more of Robin developing as a crime fighter who doesn't just blindly fellow Batman. It also shows Batman encouraging Robin which is the starting point of their relationship.

Do you like Batgirl more then Robin in general or just like Babs more then Tim?

I feel like tim was not developed as much as he could have been. Looking at Tim in the Static Shock episode the Big Leagues it seemed like he matured from who he was in NAOB, but his personality was kind of bland in the episode.

I like Batgirl more than Tim/Robin. I like her more than Dick, too, though. I've always liked her more for some reason, and no, I don't have a crush on her...mainly cuz shes a cartoon....And wow, I usd to love Ariel when i was like, 4, lol. I was gonna marry her....-____-

If DCAU continued and did a new Batman series set during JL/JLU but before BB. I would enjoy to see more Bruce and Tim working together. Develop Tim's character more and develop as a crime fighter.
