Joker: (to his hyenas) Yeah, yeah, you're hungry, I'm hungry. Do me a favor and eat each other, will you?
Landlady: A letter came for you Mr. Kerr. By the way, you're two weeks late on your rent. Joker: So sue me.
Joker: (When his car dies) I thought I told you to get gas. Harley: We're broke remember? What was I suppose to do? Fill the tank, shoot the guy and drive off? (Joker nods his head yes) Now you tell me.
Batgirl: (saving the Joker) Don't be a fool. You can't save that money. Joker: I don't want to save it. I want to go with it!
Harley: (reading headline) "Joker Seeks New Henchgirl." I'll kill him!
Joker: I may be crazy enough to take on Batman, but the IRS? No thank you!
The title and post-opening credits appear typed on a computer.
Bruce Wayne tells the Joker (actually the man impersonating him) that the last time they met he fell off a building. This is a reference to the events of their guest appearance on the Superman episode "World's Finest."
Paul Williams reprises the role of The Penguin from Batman: TAS.
Robin, Alfred, Gordon, and Bullock are absent in this episode.
The Penguin is given a different look. He now looks more like he did in the comics, rather than in the Batman Returns movie.
Based on a 12-page story entitled "The Joker's Millions" that appeared in Detective Comics #180 (cover date: February 1952.)
Joker's Lawyer: If a man's filled with glee, that man must go free! This is a reference to Johnnie Cochran's famous quote from the OJ Simpson trial. "If it doesn't fit, you must acquit."
