Bane: Time to die! Batman You first.
Bane: Fight to the death? Batman: It makes no difference now.
Lawyer: If the Bat's on a spree, Wayne must pay the fee!
Batman: I'll never forget. I see it as clearly as the day of my parents' murder.
Commissioner Gordon: We had a deal! Bane: Thought about it. Didn't work for me.

Paul Dini said that he got the inspiration for writting this episode while watching The Simpsons, even though this isn't a funny episode.
The scene in which Batgirl is pushed off the building by Scarecrow is used in the Batman: Gotham City racer video game. Also used is the scene when Robin shouts: "No!" and Batman punches Scarecrow.
