Batman Gotham Knights

This episode and "Mad Love" are the two best of the hole series, and in the top 10 of BTAS. Just watching all this...gives me the creeps...Alfred saving Bruce's life from Gordon!! The Gotham Police in the Bat-cave! Dick's secret identity discovered...the only thing that i didn't like of the episode was the fight with the scarecrow, then suddenly she dies and dream her worst fears, I saw that coming. But the episode still is a Top 10 of the hole DCAU. And then Bruce looking at the picture of his parents and saying..."I'm sorry"..OMG! It was awsome!!!And to see the Scarecrow again was excellent.

This episodes is the best. Seriously I saw this years ago and i though it was amazing. This episode hasbeginning that you wont imagine. When Batman is chased by the police you wonder what has happened? Well as Batman explains to Nightwing Bat girl gets killed by the scare crow and know commissioner Gorden thinks he is responsible and the hunt is one and as the Bruce lives in protected in seclusion the tension rises also on of the great parts of this episodes is battle between him and the dangerous Bane which i thought was a classic the scene. The ending is also unpredictable when you find out it was bat girl's dream.That is it gotta fly. P.S. I was ManBat!!!

Without a doubt this is the best episode of "The New Batman Adventures". It has everything. Action, drama, humor, suspense and even death!



The scene when Scarecrow knocks Batgirl of the roof and she falls to her death - hitting the police car with her father inside - is shocking and not something you'd expect to see in a cartoon. The actions of Commisioner Gordon are completely understandable and that's what makes the story work so well.



Seeing the cops raid the Batcave and everything Bruce has worked towards being destroyed is also a very effective scene. Another great thing about this episode is the return of Bane. He's a lot meaner and scarier than his first appearance on BTAS and his fight with Batman at the end is epic. He also delivers the creepiset line of the entire series when he tells Gordon (who is dangling over a ledge and about to fall) to "give your dear Barbara a kiss from me".



The ending is somewhat expected but you don't feel cheated because you get a great episode out of it and there's also a surprising revelation in the very last scene. Watch this episode and I guarantee you'll be hooked on Batman.

I love how this episode let\'s us in on Barbara\'s greatest fear come to life: The discovery of her secret destroying everything she holds dear. I only wish that they would have had Dick show a little more emotion about her death. It also allows us to see that Batman can show a little emotion too. But all in all, a great episode and a must see!

This is definately one of the darkest, most vivid and best Batman episodes ever.



After a little run-in with the Scarecrow, Batgirl falls to her untimely demise. Gordon blames Batman for her death and will stop at nothing to get his revenge on Batman and his crusaders.



I could really feel the emotion in this episode. Gordon, who is usually do trusting of Batman, loses it and his madness is portrayed so well as he attempts to destroy everything Batman has.



The villains in this episode were brilliant. Scarecrow was his usual sinister self and Bane put on an absolutely great performance and created some real drama and action.



This episode was convincing; it actually led you to believe you were watching the final episode. There is one twist which changes that outlook, but it also provides some great insight into Barbara's psyche.



Definately one of the best episodes. Watch it as soon as you can.

This epsidoe rocked out loud!



It opens up with Batman an Robin running from the cops- i thought that that gave you suspence. It was even cooler how Commissioner Gordon found out Batman's identity.



I was sad to see Barbra die in her father's arms. I could see how he would go after Batman and the Bat family.



It was touching how alfred risked prison or death to save Batman. Batman looked so crushed. It must have brought back all of those painful memboeris.



I wish the episode should have been a two parter and I think it should have had a better ending, but I think that the episode was the greatest thing that paul dini wrote for TNBA.



In my book, over the Edge deserves a 10 out of ten for:

One of the best episodes of the Batman animated series. A rhetorical episode in a sense, it details a darker side of the work done by Batman and his colleages and its possible consequences. In this particular episode, Batgirl meets an unfortunate demise at the hands of the scarecrow. After witnessing his daughter\\\\\\\'s death, Commissioner Gordon soon discovers the identities of Batman and the rest, and leads a manhunt against them for being a part of the death of his daughter. This episode is very dark and surreal, and has a great surprise ending. I wont give anything away, but whatever happens, this episode contains some great storytelling.

Awesome episode! In this episode Batman and Robin (Tim Drake) are running out of the bat cave chased by Gordon and his men who are firing at them. There is a huge cent and Alfred tries to prevent Batman and Robin from being shot but he is soon captured. Batman recollects that Scarecrow threw Batgirl out of a window and Commisioner Gordon was done on the floor and saw Batman throw Batgirl out of the window. She is lying dead and he unmasks her to see that it's his daughter! Freaky! So he chases after Batman and when he reads his daughter's computer he figures out Batman's Bruce Wayne and him and his men break the bat cave as Batman and Robin head toward the ocean in the bat-sub chased by a police submarine but Nightwing is able to help them. Nightwing tells Batman and Robin he's going to Batgirl's room to do some research but he gets caught by the Police! Now only Batman and Robin remain and Batman tells Tim to go away and never show himself so he won't get in trouble. So he does. Meanwhile Gordon calls upon Bane to defeat Batman. Bane and Batman get into the fight and Bane is falling from the roof and so is Gordon, Batman grabs Gordon's hands but they both slip off the roof and with Bane fall. However we see it's all Batgirls dream and she was knocked out by Scarecrow and is in the batcave. Very well done episode! Awesome ep!
