I just got Arkham Asylum a few days ago!
Number two looks like it'll be great.
Can't wait ![]()
AMAZING! Just when we thought that everything was over, we get a huge surprise like this one!
If Arkham has moved, then we're in for some real treats, this time. It's nice to see that the first game was just the tip of the iceberg. We thought that we had escaped the nightmare, but we're wrong, everyone... the real nightmare, that one, hasn't even began. Can't wait to see more news regarding this game.
At least we can expect to see Joker and Harley Quinn back in this game.
No, I don't think we will be visiting Arkham Island again, my friend... From what we can see in the trailer, I can only speculate that Arkham inmates may have been transfered to another location (probably other facilities of the asylum, which are located in the middle of Gotham City), while the Asylum is being remodeled (the amount of damage done by the Joker, Harley, Ivy and the rest of the inmates was quite big), and they broke out once again.
In what comes to villains, from the trailer I can see at least 2 more villains that will be making an appearence in this sequel: The Penguin and Two-Faces. Why these two? Because we can see the Iceberg Lounge in the trailer, and the Uncle Sam poster is a definite allusion to Harvey (one of the halfs is normal, while the other half has its hand scared, almost burned and is holding a gun). As for villains that I would like to see in it, that's another thing. I would really like to see Mr. Freeze and Hush, and well, maybe Catwoman (though we can't consider her as aa villain, since she tends to help Batman most of the times).
If you look closely, you'll see a neon sign on one of the buildings, as the camera enters in the building where Joker is. The neon sign says "Iceberg". it's really quick, but if you closely, you'll see it.
Mr. Freeze and Talia al Ghul will both be making appearances.

| Arkham Asylum was a great game; the effort that went into that game really shone through. I hope Arkham Asylum 2 will be just as good... but will Paul Dini be writing it this time? |
Why do you say that?
Edit: Okay, never mind, I just read it myself. A sad thing indeed, but sadly, no one lives forever, and expecting Hamill to be the only Joker voice for all eternity is just asking too much. It would be nice if they could convince Hamill to continue with the role, but it seems to me that they need to get the next generation's Joker voice up and running.
Do any of you have ideas on who could play a good Joker for an animated series?

I've got news, everyone! It has been announced by Wally Wingert, who voiced The Riddler in the first game, that the Riddler is bound to appear in the sequel!

No idea. But if some kind of JLU DTV is greenlit someday, I bet Andrea Romano will be able to convince Hamill to reprise his role as the Joker. |
