This episode I thought was not quite the best but good all the same. This episode introduced us to another bat villian "The Riddler" loved the voice acting by John Glover(Smallville) comical but somewhat dignififed yet chaotic and sort of obsessiveness with puzzles, and egotism due to his intelect all of what The Riddler is. I like how he is made into a character we feel some sympathy for, like most villans/super villians he was sort of driven into the role, circumstances pushed him into it when a crooked CEO creep fires him and embezeles his idea so The Riddler gets revenge.
I really loved the action in the maze it really kept me in suspesnse it had a video game pace to it. And there were a few close calls that made me jump from my seat, like that music puzzle or when they just about get decapitated from taking the wrong path marked Losers Ahead get it yeah I know bad pun; and that suspense in hoping they solve the puzzles right most notably the riddle of the Minator which actually is easy once you think about it, like all riddles.
I only had two problems with this episode though I didn't feel the action in the maze was long enough I felt Batman and Robin could of solved a few more puzzles. And I didn't like the fact that Batman and Robin got to the end of the maze so easily, the Hand of Fate obviously a Deus Ex Machina device, but then again it will work everytime.
But despite these flaws it was a good and rather suspenseful episode all the same. The ending was classic poetic justice, from what happens to the CEO creep at the end I can't help but feel that may of been The Riddlers plan all this time, to give him a riddle he may never solve.
