You disappoint me, Tetch. For all your brilliance, you've just become another theif.

Oh, Kevin, you don't know how right you are.

During a party, Gotham's richest citizens are given 'Worry Men', little tribal dolls that are supposed to take away your worries as you sleep. However, it turns out that it's really a scheme by the Mad Hatter to steal riches.

This episode wasn't bad. It moved at a good pace and there was some great action, especially one (rather pointless) scene where Batman battles puppets of his greatest foes.

Why I didn't like this episode as much as others was how much I feel they ruined Tetch. I do not merely like Tetch because I like Alice in Wonderland; in his first appearance he was a sympathetic character, driven to madness by love which was portrayed perfectly. His testimony in 'Trial' was brilliant and portrayed his pain and even his motive in 'Perchance to Dream' reminded us of his sympathetic goal.

In this he was reduced to some stupid madman who just wanted money and...Batman's cowl. He doesn't want to kill Batman because he blames Batman for his misery even when it was his fault, it is because Batman wants to stop his plan and has a neat cowl. The only thing that remotely convinces me this was the same character was how he quoted 'Jabberwocky' (I love that poem.)

    All in all, a so-so ep.moreless
