Alfred : I made your favourite. French onion soup. And when you let it get cold this time, note that it's in a microwavable croc.
Batman: Croc? Alfred, you're beautiful!
Alfred : Imagine if I got around to telling him about the salad.
Bullock: Why? Why'd you stick your neck out like that to help me?
Batman: Because I thought you were guilty too... and I was wrong. We may have different ways of enforcing the law, but we both believe in it.
Killer Croc: This ain't no Batcave. You're on my turf now.
Killer Croc: What can I tell ya? Being a reptile man ain't pretty, but it's got its upside - like having the strength of a crocodile, for instance.
Killer Croc: Terrific. Just what I need now - the freak job in the cape!
Batman: You're no prize yourself.
Commissioner Gordon: (to Batman) I had cats that made more noise than you.
This episode is episode 23 on the Batman: The Animated Series Volume 1 DVD.
Killer Croc's first appearance, and Rupert Thorne makes his third appearance as a secondary villain.

When Batman is going through the filing cabinet, searching for Bullock's file, he passes a file for J. Barr (James O'Barr), who is the creator of "The Crow" comic book series. He also passes an "N. Bate" file, which could be a reference to Norman Bates from Psycho (1960).
