Great episode. I was a bit disappointed at Zatanna not using real magic but whatever. They made up for not using magic multiple times in the episode. I expected Kane to be the villains from the beginning and was hoping that Zatanna would find out that Batman was really John Smith / Bruce Wayne. When Bruce pulled the Joker from the deck I was suprised but grinning. It was just one of those moments where you feel like everything in the world is right. I would have been glad if they brought Zatanna back in another episode but at lekast she appeared in Justice League with Batman.
  • Great chemistry between Zatanna and Batman - if only they'd included her in more episodes!

This is a great episode, perhaps one of the best, of Batman TAS. There's real chemistry between Zatanna and Batman, rekindling an old romance that began when they were young.

Oh and Zatanna - she's impressive. Why they didn't feature more Zatanna in this series I don't know. She and Batman get along great.
