After a team up with Space Ghost and his companions, Batman must come to the aid of three of his fellow superheroes, who have fallen into the icy clutches of Mr. Freeze. As they wait to be rescued, Green Arrow, Plastic Man, and Aquaman remember how they first met the Caped Crusader.

The most boring episode thus far, and seriosuly, it had three writers, Steven Melching, Alan Burnett and Paul Dini. Unbelievable.

What a freakin' dull, meaningless episode this was, it ties in nicely with the recent lousy Brave and the Bold episodes, what happened? I love this show, and this season started off so great, not to mention my favorite episode was "Shadow of the Bat!" This flat out sucked, Aquaman, Plastic Man and Green Arrow all tell their stories about when they first teamed up with Batman, okay, fair enough premise, problem is, they have no fun with it, no great action scenes, the animation felt kind of off at points and they recycle the most boring villains we've seen on the show, no new threts just, what's-his-name, Cavalier or something, Babyface, Mr. Freeze, who isn't interesting in this series and a brief appearance by Black Manta. This was a pain to slog through. The episode opens with a teaser, as usual, though the teasers now seem to take up close to 1/3rd of the whole episodes running time, I don't know why, this one really dragged, and okay, it's a neat idea, Batman teams up with Space Ghost, remember him? He was that old Hannah Barbera hero, it's cool at first, but the novelty wears off as it goes on forever, or it feels like it,I just wanted to get to the main episode, then when it started I wanted to go back to the Space Ghost stuff because...well, at least there was something there. I'm being really hard on this episode, and it wasn't even until long after I'd seen it I found out who wrote it, Paul Dini who gave us the shows finest episode, has now partaken in giving us the worst. There are a few positive stuff here, as I said the Space Ghost stuff is entertaining for a little while and it was nice to hear Mr. Freeze get a speaking role, but this was awful. So that makes three unimpressive episodes in a row, well done, can we get back to the awesome soon?moreless
