Batman: The Brave and the Bold

Opening with Captain Marvel is great, Blockbuster? How's that for an obscure villain? Anyway the main episode is a racing episode. Yeah, I know it sounds great, good concept but it doesn't really come together all that well. Main problem? The racing arena, it's just a boring canyon. I would've liked to have seen more variety in the environment which would make the race more thrilling. The vehicles on the other hand are well done, despite some bad CG.



There's more to the episode than the racing itself as Mongul traps those who are taken out of the race. This makes the episode more interesting as it shifts between the racing and the losers who try to escape from Mongul's prisons. Woozy Winks is introduced, though his proper introduction is in the next episode "Long Arm of the Law", which was made before this one.



Huntress is back and she is awesome, I like this Huntress better than the one in Justice League. Batman acts really, distractingly out of character in this episode, but his behaviour is explained near the end, so it makes sense. This is a decent, if unremarkable season 2 opener.

This was pretty awesome! I usally like shows with a race themed episode and this was no exception. They always have action and drama, like this. I actually thought that girl ( Forgot her name, but i think it was Huntress) died, but i was surprised that she survived somehow. The Joker was funny with his car and how he pranked all the others. It was awesome how the losers tried to escape Mongul's ( I think that was his name)ship. I did lol at the ending when Green Lanturn said," One punch, what a mook." That was cool when Batman used his car to make that armor.
